sturtz & zan fiskum

Sturtz is based in Boulder, Colorado, and known for soothing instrumentals and tight vocal harmonies - somewhere between chill folk and indie acoustic soul...

NPR’s All Songs Considered described Sturtz as “a reassuring breath of fresh air that pulls you back to simpler times… The best band you've never heard of...”

Sturtz recently released an amazing new album - Hyacinth. Critics raved and said Hyacinth feels like an intimate journey through emotion and reflection, with each track contributing to a bigger story...” Sturtz was an audience favorite when they performed for us in 2024 and are thrilled to welcome them back to another magical evening on Bay Lake...

Also performing is Zan Fiskum - an americana singer-songwriter who made her national debut as a finalist on season 18 of The Voice. Zan has self-released two records with over 3 million digital streams. She has toured nationally and shared the stage with John Legend, Dave Mathews, Prateek Kudah and more. Her angelic voice soars over her soulful and ethereal storytelling. Zan is reminiscent of artists Laura Marling and Brandi Carlile... Rosine - Forrest O'Connor & Meredith Lane

Nashville-based Americana/folk trio Rosine featuring Grammy Award winning artist Forrest O'Conner is coming to the Key Peninsula!

“Such a gifted musician... O’Connor delivers songs in such an aching, sweet voice...” — Rosanne Cash

Rosine is exploring and cultivating a soundscape that relies on the emotive potential of acoustic instruments to showcase original songs. Its members – Meredith Lane (lead vocals/guitar), Mike Miz (vocals/guitar), and Forrest O’Connor (vocals/mandolin/guitar) – have each dedicated their lives to performing new music, and despite hailing from three different corners of the country, their shared vision of what folk writing could look like a quarter-way into the 21st century prompted them to join forces in late 2024.

Individually, the members of Rosine have worked with a wide array of artists and performed in major venues throughout the country. A Nashville native and Tennessee State Mandolin Champion, O’Connor has collaborated with Paul Simon, Zac Brown, Steve Martin & Martin Short, Emmylou Harris, Bela Fleck, and many others over the last 15 years. In 2015, he co-founded the O’Connor Band with his father, seven-time CMA Award-winning fiddler Mark O’Connor; Forrest wrote several songs, including the title track, for the O’Connor Band’s first album Coming Home, which debuted at #1 on Billboard’s Top Bluegrass Albums Chart and won a Grammy Award for Best Bluegrass Album.

It was during an O’Connor Band tour nearly a decade ago that Forrest first met (then 14 year-old) Lane in her small hometown of Enterprise, Oregon, where she would go on to develop a strong following thanks to her vocal and songwriting prowess as well as her collaborations with notable artists from the region, including ACM Award-winner Zach Top and Billboard chart-toppers The Band Joseph. The town of Enterprise – five miles southeast of the even smaller town of Lostine, where Lane attended school and church – is nestled in the breathtaking Wallowa County wilderness, which served as a powerful inspiration for the development of Lane’s artistry and songwriting voice.

Miz, a native of northeast Pennsylvania, spent countless hours as a teenager developing his guitar and songwriting chops, which landed him bar and festival gigs throughout the mid-Atlantic before adulthood. He has since shared the stage with Billy Ray Cyrus, Garth Hudson from The Band, and Andrew Farriss of INXS, among others, and he recently made his Grand Ole Opry debut playing lead electric guitar alongside rising star performer Paul McDonald. Miz and O’Connor connected in spring 2024 (thanks to Miz’s online classifieds listing of a vintage Fender amp, of all things) and soon thereafter worked together on various shows and recording projects...

Lane, Miz, and O’Connor began meeting up on cold nights this past winter in their friend and collaborator (and fiddler extraordinaire) Eli Bishop’s small studio shed in Madison, TN, to arrange and prepare for a series of live music videos, which they filmed at Zac Brown’s Southern Ground Studio in early 2025. They are currently working on writing their first album, collaborating extensively with recent Nashville Songwriters Hall of Fame inductee Marcus Hummon (Tim McGraw, Rascal Flatts, The Chicks) to shape and hone a sound that combines memorable melodies with exploratory harmonies, instrumental virtuosity, and lyrical acuity!

Opening for Rosine is Ben Gage is a singer songwriter from Akron, OH blending folk and roots blues. Ben Gage grew up in the rural rust belt of Northeast Ohio. His roots run deep alongside the hard working blue collars along Lake Erie. That tenacity, love of family, and respect for a long day can be seen in his music. In Fall of 2021 Ben quit his job in the tech-sector to pursue music full time. Now he travels the US sharing stories and songs - and always collecting a few more..

Lila Forde

We heard Lila Forde perform live in Seattle a few months ago and we instantly fell in love with her warm soulful voice, insightful story-telling and her wonderful authentic vibe. Lila is a Los Angeles based singer-songwriter who blends soul, old-school jazz, Americana and folk traditions into a timeless and heartfelt sound - carrying the past into the present with refreshing ease..

Raised in a spiritual, music-filled household in Seattle, Lila grew up without a television and with her feet in the dirt – the daughter of a musician and meditation teachers who encouraged her to stay curious, grounded, and creatively free. She spent her formative years singing in choirs, studying jazz in college, and steeping herself in the classics – including Bonnie Raitt, Carole King, Ella Fitzgerald, and Nancy Wilson – while developing a voice and vision that felt entirely her own.

“There’s nothing else in this world I could possibly do,” she reflects. “I’ve known that from an early age; this is what I was put on this earth to do.”

Lila gained national attention as a finalist on season 24 of NBC's "The Voice" - she had a four chair turn audition - and was mentored by John Legend. You can click below to hear a YouTube video summation of her amazing performances on The Voice..

Pease listen below to hear Lila sing one of my favorite songs of 1969 - "Can't Find My Way Home" by Steve Winwood / Blind Faith - we are so lucky to have Lila perform for us here on the Key Peninsula...

Stillhouse Junkies

We first heard Stillhouse Junkies perform live at the Spanish Ballroom and immediately knew we wanted to bring them to the Key Peninsula. Stillhouse Junkies explore the worlds between roots, Americana, Texas swing, blues, bluegrass and rock. They are masters of free-flowing musical interplay and improvisation - every show is completely unique with high-energy, intricately composed original songs.

Based in the Southwestern Colorado town of Durango, the trio consists of founder Fred Kosak on guitar and mandolin, longtime member Alissa Wolf on fiddle, and Jeanette Adams on upright bass. Stillhouse Junkies have released four full-length albums. Their most recent effort, 2025’s The Ballad of Charlie Avalon, is an ambitious concept album featuring narration by newgrass icon Sam Bush.

Their prolific songwriting, tight vocal harmonies, and blistering instrumentals earned them the prestigious International Bluegrass Music Association’s “Momentum Band of the Year” award in 2021. We can't wait to have Stillhouse Junkies perform for us here on the Key Peninsula...
